We Celebrated March 8 International Women's Day with Our Women

ÇATES celebrated March 8 International Women's Day by coming together with all its female employees for breakfast. At the event specially prepared for Women's Day, women came together and had breakfast together with gifts specially prepared for them. Hamdi Alp, General Manager of Thermal Power Plants, published a message regarding the meaning and importance of the day; "I congratulate all our women on March 8, International Women's Day, and I would like to express the happiness of producing shoulder to shoulder with the energy of our women," she said. Women's Day, celebrated every year on March 8, is a day of struggle for rights that emerged in 1908 when 15 thousand female employees in New York demanded shorter working hours, higher salaries and the right to choose.
