After graduating in 2004 from Istanbul University Faculty of Economics, Prof. Dr. Ayben Koy started to work at Istanbul Commerce University in 2012 after 8 years of career in finance and other sectors. After completing her Master's degree in Business Management at Yıldız Technical University, Koy received her PhD degree in Finance with her thesis on Derivative Markets at Istanbul University in 2016.
In 2018, he received the title of Associate Professor from the Council of Higher Education and in 2024 he received the title of Professor, and has written books on derivatives markets in Turkish and English. He is the co-author of a book on financial econometrics. He is the author of numerous works in the field of finance, especially derivatives and capital markets. He lectures at undergraduate and graduate level at universities in Turkey and abroad. He advises businesses in various areas of finance such as financial management, risk management, hedging and valuation.
